We are actively looking for help with more funding / donations of any amount, to buy and put up more Barn Owl nest boxes in 2025 and 2026.

As you will see in our letter of appeal, we put up a total of 51 nest boxes in North Norfolk in 2023 and 2024, which was a great start to our project.

But great things have happened since then, during 2025 we put up another 40 Barn Owl nest boxes making a total of 91!

We are knocking on the door of our target figure of 100 boxes, which is totally amazing for such a small project. John and Suzanne are immensely proud of what they have achieved. The last of the 100 should go up in February/March 2026. weather dependant.

Once we have achieved this fantastic goal, we will still need some funds to be able to monitor and maintain all 100 boxes, twice a year for the future. The boxes being up at all these new sites is just the beginning, We now hope and pray that the local Barn Owls like the new homes, their main source of food (the short tailed vole) has a better year and the weather will be kinder to them in 2026.

We have produced a short flyer which we would love you to share with anyone you know who may be willing to donate funds to help us with the conservation and species recovery of Barn Owls in Norfolk.

The Hawk & Owl Trust have supported us from the very beginning by making and putting up the boxes, monitoring annually and ringing any owlets. The funds we raise pay for the boxes and associated costs.

The H & O Trust have written a lovely letter of support and endorsement, confirming their collaboration with us is something they are proud of too.
